The successful candidate will be expected to lead and manage the constant improvement and development of the team, while also contributing to the improvement and development of the service overall. This includes personally conducting, managing, and leading on highly complex, corporately significant, and/or high-risk projects and cases.
The role also involves building strong relationships across the team and with key service areas, understanding their needs to plan the resources of Legal and Democratic Services accordingly. The successful candidate will work closely with these service areas to actively support and promote the development of skills and knowledge in legal and governance issues relevant to their service.
