The Monmouth County Fair, a much-anticipated summer event, is set to take place from July 24 to July 28, 2024, at the East Freehold Showgrounds. This all-ages extravaganza promises a myriad of attractions, such as rides, a butterfly encounter, a dinosaur zoo, an aerial thrill show, touch-a-truck, living history displays, various food vendors, live music, and unique daily specials.

The event will operate from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The 81-acre site can be found at 1500 Kozloski Rd. A fireworks display is scheduled for 9:15 p.m. on the opening night, July 24.

General admission to the fair is $10. However, half-price entry is available during the first two hours of operation each day for adults and older kids. Children aged 12 and under can enter for free. Parking is provided free of charge.

Thomas Arnone, director of the Monmouth County Board of Commissioners, expressed excitement for the fair, stating, “The fair is a fun-filled summer event that residents and visitors look forward to attending each year. We can’t wait to see everyone at the fair.”
