Small Town in Switzerland Was a Hidden Gem While Backpacking Europe

The author’s last night of a two-week trip to Europe was spent in Roggwil, a quiet village in Switzerland. To save money, they chose an Airbnb in Roggwil instead of booking accommodations in Zurich. The Airbnb was unique, a wine barrel converted into a tiny home on a garden property near the train station. On their final night, the author planned to buy sausages from a local grocery store and cook dinner on a firepit, but the store was closed. A 25-minute walk led them to a picturesque field lined with houses and mountains, a sight they found striking and unforgettable. They concluded that booking the Airbnb in Roggwil was the best decision of their trip.
