New Samsung Images Reveal Galaxy Z Fold6 Design Advantages

Samsung is preparing for the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold6 at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for next week. To create anticipation, Samsung has activated promotional billboards in major cities worldwide, featuring stylized folded surfaces that hint at the upcoming foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6. These billboards also promote Samsung’s Galaxy AI software, which has secured Samsung the top spot for AI-enabled smartphones following the launch of the Galaxy S24 family.

The artwork for these billboards includes subtle references to the Eiffel Tower, in line with the launch venue for Galaxy Unpacked and Samsung’s role as a major sponsor for the 2023 Summer Olympics.

New images released by tipster Evan Blass reveal several handset renders similar to previous marketing stills, showcasing the squared-off corners, wider cover display, and improved aspect ratio of the internal display. These images also offer more details on the hinge assembly, suggesting that Samsung has made advancements in reducing the number of internal moving parts, improving protection against environmental conditions, and possibly even incorporating dust protection. If this is the case, the Galaxy Z Fold6 would have a significant advantage in the foldable market.

More information can be found about Samsung’s integration of Galaxy AI across its devices and peripherals.
