Vancouver is getting FREE dance classes by the water this summer

Fitness World, a renowned fitness center in Vancouver, is organizing a free summer fitness event called the MSINGI Afro Movement Summer Series, commencing on July 16 and extending until August 27, 2024. This series of seven workshops will occur weekly at Canada Place North, offering participants a captivating view of the waterfront, and will run from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The workshops, orchestrated by Ingrid Knight-Cohee, the Director of Fitness Classes at Fitness World, incorporate Afro beats to create an energetic and rhythmic training experience. The primary focus lies in enhancing functional strength while promoting mobility and groove simultaneously. This event is open to individuals of all ages and is inclusive, aiming to provide a fun and accessible fitness experience in the heart of Vancouver.

With the MSINGI Summer Series, Fitness World attempts to offer free and accessible fitness programmes to the city’s residents this summer. Although a Fitness World membership is not a necessary prerequisite for participating, such memberships can complement your workouts and keep you active during time gaps between classes. Membership plans offer affordability, with rates starting from mere $1 per month.

Since this is an outdoor fitness class set to the infectious rhythms of Afro beats, be sure to bring a water bottle along and wear comfortable, workout clothes. Business attire wouldn’t be suitable for a dance-based workout designed to help you reach your fitness milestones this summer.

Anyone interested in participating in this refreshing and engaging fitness series can effortlessly register for the MSINGI Afro Movement Summer Series on the official event details page. So, gather some friends, lace up those shoes and get ready to groove alongside the stunning Vancouver waterfront through the MSINGI event this summer.
