The upcoming Apple Watch, either named Series 10 or Apple Watch X, is expected to feature a significant design upgrade and a larger display compared to its predecessors. According to a report by 91 Mobiles, the new watch will boast a 2-inch display, surpassing the 1.93-inch display of the Apple Watch Ultra and the 1.7-inch display of the Series 9. The new watch is rumored to be available in two sizes: 45mm and 49mm, which is a jump from the 41mm regular size of current Apple Watches.
Despite the larger display, the overall dimensions of the Apple Watch Series 10 are expected to be smaller than the Watch Ultra, with dimensions roughly 46 x 39.7 x 11.6mm. The design is said to maintain similarities with previous models, featuring the same Digital Crown and side button, as well as a similar-shaped display.
Contrary to recent rumors, the new report suggests that the current band attachment system, which involves sliding the bands in, will continue to be used in the Series 10. This means that current Apple Watch bands will be compatible with the new model.
More details about the Apple Watch Series 10 are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
